The graphics are a lovely touch, as the screenshots show. The map is clear and easy to navigate around and some of the battle shots are terrific. What impressed me more is the music. It really is spot on, adding an absolutely perfect atmosphere of naval aggression and patriotic pride as you sail around trying to take on your rivals and the ports of india. You could easily imagine it placed within a film and I feel it's one of those rare occasions when the music really does make the game. East India Company is a joy to play with challenging but manageable goals, great visuals and a superb soundtrack. I think this could be one of the best strategy games we'll see in 2009.
